Responsibilities

 

High performance demands support of high standard. The Network Center group spares no effort to make sure all staff has complied with the rules as follows:

* Carry out the guidelines, policies, and statutes of the Party and state; abide by the relevant laws on computer network strictly in order to serve teaching, research, and management well.
* Be responsible for writing the development plan of the campus network and the annual work plan of the network center.
* Arrange and then carry out the semester work according to the development plan and the annual work plan.
* Construct, maintain and manage the network backbone as well as providing necessary guidance and management to the second level network.
* Construct, maintain and manage the network servers.
* Assist the related departments with construction and utilization of the network information system.
* Put their effort to network administration and user management.
* Make sure of the network security.
* Enhance the development of the technical and management teams.
* Enhance academic research and improve the technicians’ ability of performing the research.
* Be responsible for the assets management of both the campus network and the network center.
* Accomplish other missions of Jimei University.
